World needs more than just GDP, joy also needed: Pranab Mukherjee.
Speaking at the launch of Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia’s publication titled’Shiksha‘, Pranab Mukherjee stated,”The entire world now is not just talking about gross domestic product (GDP), the world wants more.”
“A new concept has come that GDP is important side-by-side the GHP [gross happiness product]. Happiness is important and the basic foundation of the happiness is instruction,” the former president said.
Pranab Mukherjee also praised the Delhi deputy minister for writing for the average teachers, professionals of scholars and education and stated that the book is important because it’s predicated on Sisodia’s experiences as the education minister of the Delhi administration.
Pranab Mukherjee also greeted people on Teachers afternoon and said pupils should be encouraged to ask questions.
“The work within the field of schooling in Delhi at the last five years was observed by the whole country and the world. Many say it is not less than a revolution,” Arvind Kejriwal stated.

Even the Delhi chief minister added that his government received a lot of advice from Pranab Mukherjee in improving education in Delhi since he had a terrific interest in it.
“Uniform schooling to all pupils is a dream of the whole country. Our thought was to improve and better government schools so that folks receive their children changed to them from private ones,” he further added.
The turnaround education at Delhi involved three phases, starting with”clerical works” focused on enhancing the infrastructure, followed by motivation and training of principals and teachers and ultimately, focussing on better results in board exams, Arvind Kejriwal stated.
