Us Prez Trump probed over military spending in Scotland
The debt-ridden airport, south of Glasgow and about 30 km north of Trump Turnberry, has been battling off closure. It’s reported to be essential to this Trump firm, which can be loss-making.
The Scottish government purchased the airport at 2013, as it was facing closure. Back in June, it was put up for sale with no buyer declared till date.
The Committee’s accusations were more detailed in a letter, signed with the Democratic Party chairman Elijah Cummings, to the Pentagon – which can be dated to June but has been only disclosed on the Politico news website on Friday.

It requests access to communications between the US Department of Defence and also Trump Turnberry, in addition to any applicable financial records.
Citing Defence Logistics Agency (DLA) records, it said the US military had produced 629 fuel purchase orders at the airport, totaled $11 million since October 2017.
Additionally, it alleges that military personnel are offered”cut-price rooms” and completely free rounds of golf at the Trump Turnberry hotel.
